The Restaurant Interview Sometimes recruiters will ask you to conduct your interview during lunch or dinner. It makes for a more relaxed setting for the recruiter, but you should remember that it is still an interview, and your behavior must be in accordance to that. During this type of interview, you should try to look at it as a relaxing way for you to talk about and sell yourself to the recruiter. Making a little bit of small talk is expected. Do not bring up the topic of the interview until the interviewer does. He/she might want to get to know you a bit first. Remember to talk about yourself, but do not get too personal.
