Examples of these food products are white flour, refined sugar and other processed foods. Red meat, poultry, fish and eggs should also be removed from your diet. Honey is only the exemption from the animal product category because it can be used for sweetening. The undergoing of juice fasting as a body detox program usually requires three to seven days but this can last up to three weeks or more. Even though there is no intake of solid food during juice fasting, the diet can already provide you with vitamins, nutrients, minerals and enzymes, essential for the proper and excellent functioning of the body. In fact, even with juice fasting you can still feel energized. In spite of this, a person should not undertake juice fasting on a regular workweek because the stress and activities from work may be too arduous for this kind of diet. During a vacation can be the best time for this body detox program.

What Are The Effects Of Juice Fasting?

If a person pursues juice fasting as a body detox program, the result will be dramatic weight loss of body fat, which is good because this is where most of the harmful toxins are stored. With the help of juice fasting, the body fats are metabolized. This way, the fats are forced to go out into the blood stream where the body processes can get rid of the toxic substances. Actually, the effect of juice fasting is like a chain reaction. From the flushing out of the toxins, the body gains increased metabolism performance. When the body undergoes good metabolism performance, it is also expected that digestion is better, which consequently leads to the improvement of the absorption of nutrients.

As one of the effective body detox plans, juice fasting is also considered to be cheaper than the other methods. This is also one of the easiest because it is regarded as a part of the home body detox. Using juice fasting as a body detox program can also enhance your culinary abilities in terms of putting together different fruits and vegetables as a body detox recipe.
