How to Make MySpace Layouts

If you are tired of locating for the look of your MySpace site by way of free layouts, then you have hit across the only study that will give you directions for creating your own MySpace layout patterns without being a knowledgeable coder Or web designer.

Believe me when I tell you that there IS a answer to this quandary. And it doesn’t cost one single penny to use! No. It doesn’t need hours of tutorials either. If you can play a computer game, then you can produce your own custom-made MySpace Layout patterns.

Plus, you don’t need to have artistic skills . Nor do you need to be a ‘coding’ genius either. All you need is a few simple free tools around and you can create your very own unique MySpace Layouts to set your ‘space’ different from everyone else.

Most MySpacers are stuck to using premade layout designs. And that’s great. Because all the tough stuff, you know, like chugging out the CSS coding, is all done for you. And with a few simple steps, a la copy and pasting, you have a brand new look for your MySpace site. Leaving you with much more time for adding content to your ‘space’.

But, there are drawbacks to using such premade patterns. For example,  once in  while, the code will break and screw up your whole MySpace site. And the only absolute solution left banging your head and rediting the code, is to just scrap it and restart the whole job. And that’s a real pain in the a****!

While I understand that MySpace is mostly a place for the junior generation to strut their stuff, more and more of the 20 to 40 something’s and up are entering within the MySpace community. And we are in real need to search for more ‘matured’ layout designs to select from. Which are very few at this level of the MySpace generation of users.

The most common reason for this is that the younger generation has more time to produce all those free layouts you can use for your MySpace site. Or, you can decide to give up all that and simply use the default layout design. But, for those of us older genration out there, using a more immature layout doesn’t do much for our ‘spaces’ when we’re trying to be serious. Particularly those of us that are trying to build our business or generate some cash without going totally ‘e-com’ with our MySpace sites.

In addition, if you decided to take the time to learn the CSS coding, and then additionally learn the precise MySpace coding to make matters actually look and function properly, it could waste a lot of your time. In this fast paced world, you want things accomplished as quickly as possible. And this short, neat little guide will do that for you.

The best thing for you to do to reduce future headaches is to design your OWN MySpace Layouts and plug them in. I know, it seems really complex, learning all that coding and whatnot, but I assure you, you won’t have to learn one single line of code. Really.

Now, this may upset a bit of all those ‘Layout designer for MySpace’ guys out there, but too bad! Using the data inside this quick walkthrough guidebook will help YOU not to get through all the ‘junk’ filled inside the redymade layout codes anymore. What does that mean? NO MORE LINK-BACKS Needed. And, NO MORE CODES GOING BAD ON YOU. YAY!!

Then utilize all of the space available in the MySpace area for yourself. Not what the free ‘designers’ want. Free site backlinks and traffic. Use it for your self and for your other websites to give a bavk link. Makes sense, right?

Okay, the first thing you need to start of making your MySpace Layout a small software available at:

http://www.download.com/MYLT-MySpace-Layout-Tool-/3000-2068_4-10510095.html.

Install the software on your computer once downloaded. Then you can begin to fiddle about with it for a moment, if you like, to make ‘plain vanilla’ layouts. For stylish layout with graphics and images you will need to surf the net. For now, just fiddle around with the MYLT(MySpace Layout Tool) and see what it can and can’t do as per your requirement.

Phew, Was that fun? Certainly it was! And, did you realize that this little software spits out the code you need for you? All you have to do later is simply copy and paste it inside the appropriate area of your MySpace profile area once you’re logged in.

Obviously, is there any need for me to go into the details of this software tool? Nah!. If you’ve used any type of HTML editor(frontpage / dreamweaver etc..) or Web Template Creation Software, website builder, then you’ll easily get the ‘hang’ of this tool as well.

Remember to upload images you want to use in your layout design / table backgrounds / page backgrounds to your own image hosting provider or web hosting provider. Only then will the software be able to show up the image you specify within your layout code. This will indeed help you in saving your time later from working on useless stuff like fixing the broken images in your MySpace website ;-) .

So, here are some simple steps for using your own uploaded images for background uses on your layout design. . .

First, Upload Your Images To Your Image Hosting space Or Web Hosting Space

Second, Open(if it’s not already) The MYLT Tool So You Can start creating your cool MySpace Layout Complete With Your Selected Background Image(s)

Third, Start making use of Table Border Style & Color, Link Style & Color, Link Hover Specifics, Etc. to prepare your MySpace Layout as per your requirements using the software with ease.

Fourth, Copy The code from the software(MYLT) To Your Computer’s Clipboard (CTRL+C) And Then Paste (CTRL+V) The Code Inside Your MySpace Profile’s ‘About Me’ Section Inside The Text Area(Box)

Fifth, Click on the Submit button So It Will Be Saved And All Changes will show up On Your MySpace Site

Sixth, Test, Test, Test! It’s Very important, if required redo all the steps from the beginning and rest :) when you are satisfied with your newly designed MySpace Layout.

Seventh, Make Any Changes as and when needed to your MySpace Layout following the steps as described above.

This is all that you need to do! You can now impress all those buddies around you with your new MySpace Layout. There’s much more you can do with your MySpace Layout you designed recently using the MYLT software. Some of which have been included in the following section.

You can also use an image editor such as PhotoShop to create your own unique graphics to rmbed into your MySpace layout for an even more dazzling design. I have also included quite a few free usable backgrounds and royalty free images you can use to begin making your MySpace layouts with. You can find those within the freeimages.zip file.

There are lots of sites with extensive ‘how to’ info for free through their tutorials section about creating MySpace Layouts. Many of them also have special MySpace generators so you can easily create other  elements you may need. A few of them are. . .

Needless to say  you can search using your favorite search engine to find more sites offering usable MySpace freebies.

Now that you have a MySpace Layout tool(MYLT), there are lots of things you can do with it. One of them is getting paid for designing layouts for others that may need one. Or simply designing non-exclusive layout designs that you are selling. MySpacers are regularly on the hunt for new and unique layout patterns. And what i have learnt fron the web designers and the industry is that people are ready to pay you for getting the work done for them. MySpace Layouts are no different in this respect. So, it is profitable to produce some unique and excellent layouts and earn a decent amount of profit from selling them to others.

The key thing to understand about doing MySpace Layout patterns is a fact that all of them are created using HTML and CSS coding, which is not impossible to learn. Hand coding can take a significantly lots of time, but can be worth it in the end if learning this is your goal. But, nothing beats cutting out some of the time spent on creating patterns for your, or someone else’s MySpace.

Once you know that by simply adding a <style></style> HTML tag and all the CSS elements within it to your MySpace site to attain the look and feel you desire, the rest is child’s play.

I do hope that this has helped inspire you to get to work on your own MySpace Layout. And that doing so doesn’t have to be a scaring task, but one of fun!
